Canadian National Water Ski Championships

Oh how timing works in your favour sometimes.

For the first time ever the Canadian National Water Ski Championships are being held in our backyard! Yes, the McClintock Family along with Water Ski Wakeboard Ontario will be hosting the competition on Puslinch Lake from August 8-12.

On May 29th Mike and I attended our first Puslinch Lake Conservation Association (PLCA) Town Hall. With a long list of meeting items the most exciting for us was Jamie & Jason McClintock speaking to all the residents on the story of how the competition came to our lake, how they go about executing the weekend and their plans on giving back to the lake with the proceeds. It was obvious this family not only has a huge passion for the sport but also a love for kids and their community.

Our family, who certainly fall in the beginner category when it comes to water skiing but the professional league in celebrations, plan to have family and friends over, BBQing and getting out on the boat to watch from the sidelines.

We couldn't be happier for the front row seat, the publicity for the lake and our little community who have all come together to make this happen.

Good luck to all the competitors, the Wolf Family will be cheering for you!

Thanks for stopping by! xo
